The purpose of the Lyons-Muir Historical Society is to preserve the local history as well as historical landmarks and buildings in the Lyons-Muir Michigan areas, establish local genealogical research, inform residents of the local history, and retain as much of the past as possible for the future.
Lyons-Muir Historical Society Monthly Membership Meetings are at 7:00 p.m. on the 2nd Monday of each month (March thru December) at the Museum, 309 E Bridge Street, Lyons, MI 48851.
LMHS 2025-2026 Membership Dues Renewal:
September is the traditional start of the LMHS’ new year, with annual membership dues requested ($10 per individual or $15 per family). If not already paid, please take a moment to send in your membership dues for the upcoming year, made payable to the Lyons-Muir Historical Society and mailed to:
